Gator Baseball vs Lake Belton at the Swamp
The Gator varsity baseball team beat Lake Belton 10-3 Thursday (4/1) night. The Gators' bats were hot as the offense tallied 15 hits, 7 of them for extra bases. Every hitter in the Gator lineup accounted for at least one hit. The offense scored 5 in the first, 1 in the second, and 2 in the third to break the game open 8-0. Luke Petersen pitched 4.2 innings before Lake Belton was able to get to him. Lake Belton scored 3 in the fifth inning to push the score to 8-3. Reese Petersen came in to relieve Luke and pitched 2.1 scoreless innings to close it out. The varsity team is now 5-2 in district and tied for first place with Lake Belton and Taylor. 

The JV team lost to Lake Belton and is now 3-4 in District Play.
