Too Cold Tuesdays - Girls Soccer at the Swamp
It has been decided that the soccer teams are no longer allowed to play on Tuesday nights.  A pattern is developing where cold fronts come in early and the press box becomes the warmest place to be.  We will soon be charging additional gate fees for these prime seats.  Economics 101 here people.  Supply and demand.

That being said, both teams claimed victories last night over district rival Cameron Yoe.

JV proved to be too much for Cameron by winning 3-0.  The team now has a stranglehold on the district standings.  The team is currently 7-2-0 on the season.

Varsity played without two starters causing a domino effect of positional changes.  They also survived a lackluster first half performance to defeat Cameron 3-1.  Two goals from senior Kira Sellers and a third from sophomore Adelle Jaramilla proved to be too much for the visiting team.

The Varsity team currently stands at 3-0-0 in district play and 13-1-1 overall.

Next action is this Friday (2/7/2020) night, under hopefully warmer conditions, when Manor New Tech visits the swamp.  Kick offs at 5:15pm and 7:00pm respectively.
