Off to a Good Start - Girls Soccer
Monday 12-16-19

The girls soccer team travelled to Burnet Friday night for the first scrimmage of the year.  Both squads started slowly with a lot of nervous energy taking hold.  Ultimately the JV team left with a 2-1 victory with goals from Kaylee Yarbrough and Zoe Rhoads.  The Varsity squad left with a 3-1 win on two goals from Kira Sellers and a third provided by Emma Yezak.

Although only a scrimmage, many positives were taken from this outing along with a few things that need to be addressed.  All of that will have to wait one more day as their crazy coach who believes in playing anyone, anywhere, anytime, scheduled the pre-season #1 team in the state for a scrimmage today.  Liberty Hill, fresh off back to back State tournament appearances, will come to town today for a 4pm JV start with Varsity to follow at approximately 5:15pm.

Stop by and check out the hardest working teams in the area as they go head to head with the best the state has to offer.  It will be a lot of fun.
