High School Cross Country Head Coach: Mark A. Eno
Playing/Coaching Experience: Following a stellar high school athletic tenure including multiple All-District honors in football, baseball and track & field (current high hurdle record holder) for the Belton Tigers, he earned his bachelor’s degree in History and Physical Education from East Texas State University in Commerce (now known as Texas A&M University – Commerce).
Awards: Mark has taught at several Central Texas schools, including Bruceville-Eddy High School, Moody High School, Troy Middle and High School, Lamar Middle School (Temple) and Temple High School. His positive academic record resulted in his being named five times to Who’s Who Among America’s High School Teachers. He was also nominated for the TempleDaily Telegram’s “Golden Apple Award,” a prestigious award that honors educators nominated by students, former students or parents of students.

Playing/CoachingBackground: Coach Bruneman was cross country and track athlete at Pflugerville High School. She went on to be a collegiate runner at Texas A&M University in College Station. Coach Bruneman has coached at Gateway College Prep since 2020. Prior to that she worked in Leander ISD for 8 years.
